Scheduling and Financing Info

We feel strongly that our patients deserve the best possible periodontal care. We also want to provide you with periodontal care that is affordable for you and your family. Before the end of your initial evaluation, you will be presented with a treatment plan and cost estimate as well as a variety of ways to make it affordable for you to pursue your recommended treatment.

Please do not hesitate in asking us any questions about our office policies. We want you to be comfortable in dealing with these matters, and we urge you to consult with us if you have any questions regarding our services or fees.

For your assistance, we have listed answers to several frequently asked questions below.

How can I get prices on what treatment in your office will cost me?

There are times that we receive calls from prospective patients regarding what treatment will cost. For example, “How much will periodontal surgery cost in your office? ” Without one of our doctors performing an examination with proper X-rays, it is impossible to accurately estimate what type of periodontal surgery is necessary. For example, bone replacement grafts or other treatment may be required to properly treat a surgical site. An examination must be done to answer this question accurately.

What forms of payment does your office accept?

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.  We also offer other alternative financial arrangements offered through Care Credit and Lending Club Patient Solutions.  Both plans offer a variety of affordable payment options. Information can be found on their websites at www.carecredit.com or lendingclub.com/patientsolutions

What role will my dental insurance play in my periodontal treatment?

Our financial and scheduling coordinator will be happy to work with you in processing and submitting your insurance claim. We are happy to file your primary insurance claims at no charge and assist you in receiving the insurance benefit to which you are entitled. It has been our experience that dental insurance is not designed as a “pay-all,” but as an aid in helping you obtain dental treatment.

Are you in network with my insurance company?

Though we are out of network all insurance companies, we will file all primary insurance on our patients' behalf with payment sent back directly to you from your carrier. We seek to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit to which you are entitled. We follow up on all claims filed and appeal, when necessary.
